    listening skills

    Hi everybody

I'm student in the college. I'm not good at english and I try to improve my second language. I started by the most important skill which is reading, now I'm try to study listening but it seemed to me very difficult. My question here, can I listen without understanting? In order to make the brain accustomed to listen.

If it not good idea, how can I understand, learn, and improve my listening skill???
Can you help me, please? I will be thankful to you

There is something else, if I have mistakes correct me.

I have made a few corrections to your post.

As far as your actual question is concerned, I would say yes! For example, try to have an English-speaking radio station playing as often as possible. It doesn't matter if you don't understand all the words as it will still help you develop your ear for the language - the speech patterns, the rhythm etc. The more you listen, the more you will understand.

Everyone makes mistakes! You are absolutely not a level zero - your posts were completely understandable but without correction, we don't learn! Keep posting to the site, you'll learn a lot.
