"full current clean driving license"
What does the underlined words mean when combined with a "driving license"
many thanks,
Full = the person has passed the final driving test. It is not a "provisional" licence which means the person is still learning to drive, and must have another qualified driver in the car with them at all times.
Current = it is still valid and has not expired.
Clean = with no penalty points. On a UK driving licence, if you are convicted of a driving offence (speeding, driving when drunk), "penalty points" are added to your licence. If you reach 12 points, then your licence is taken away and you are banned from driving for a certain period. A "clean" driving licence is one with no penalty points added.
