    Please try to do the exercise yourself first. Hint: advise = verb; advice = noun.

    In Question 1, it should say "As per Mary's..."

    Both correct. Well done.

    Number 1 isn't a complete sentence, it would be followed by a comma and another clause.
    Number 2 needs a full stop at the end.

    Question 2 in the original post "........ Thanks to advise/advice" doesn't make any sense. The capital "T" on "Thanks" shows that it's the beginning of a sentence, so they seem to be asking you to simply put a one word sentence in the space. However, it doesn't really make any difference to the question, so if you imagine that the question reads:

    "Thanks to advice/advise from....."

    what would your answer be?
