    Thinking aloud

    Is it possible to think aloud (not just to oneself)?

    Example:

    "I don't know what her motive is," Jerry thought aloud.
    "Neither do I, Jerry," Peter replied.

    Yes. As long as you actually say out loud something you are thinking, it doesn't matter how many people are present, or how many people hear you.
