Dear all,

A bridal make-up artist says:

"ON A MULTITUDE OF WEBSITES, I RANK THE NUMBER ONE MAKE-UP ARTIST IN NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY, WHICH I TAKE A LOT OF PRIDE IN, WHICH IS ROUTED IN ALL OF MY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE GLAMMY EXPERIENCE."

What is the meaning of the last sentence?? What's "routed in"?

Thanks a lot.

I think it should say "rooted in" (same pronunciation), meaning that her level of customer service etc takes her number 1 position on many websites as its base, or as its root.

See the first example here: Definition "rooted" - Collins English Cobuild Dictionary & Thesaurus, spelling "rooted" - Reverso

She pronouced like "bounce" not like "pool". Can be clearly heard.

Sorry, I should have considered the possibility that you were hearing the AmE pronunciation!

In BrE, route and root have the same pronunciation.

In that case, I will leave it to an AmE speaker to help you out, as I can't come up with a suitable explanation.

Not a teacher.

Regardless of what she said, she meant "rooted." She probably heard someone say "rooted" (pronounced like "boot") and translated it into the word "route" in her head, then pronounced it the way she would pronounce "route" (like "out").

People don't go to bridal make-up artists for their verbal skills.

(You could encounter either pronunciation in America.)

Does it mean "thanks to"?

It sort of means that, but I don't think I can explain it any better than on the link I posted: "influenced by" or "developed from"
