    Question "joint top"?!

    Hi there,

If two students get exactly the same scores and both become top students, then what's the right adjective for their ranks? "Joint Top"? Say, if you wanted to put their name on a notice board.

(and, should I say "both stand on/at the top of the list"?)

    Many thanks in advance.

I would say they are currently "joint first" or are "sharing first place". They are at the top of the list.
