Hullo !
Could you please tell us what's the exact difference between Specially and Especially in use ?
Well , How to complete these two sentences with the above adverbs ?
1- I love all sports , but ………. Basketball
2- All her clothes are ……… made for her in France

Thanks in advance

This has been discussed before in this forum. I searched the forum for "specially" and found this:

Ok , thanks for this kind of help :)

Well , have a look at these quotes :

According to the Oxford Dictionary, the words especially and specially are not interchangeable, although both can mean "particularly". Only especially means "in particular", as in He despised them all, especially Thomas, and only specially means "for a special purpose", as in The car was specially made for the occasion.

Specially = for a particular purpose.

Especially = particularly (used for emphasis)

Only now do I get the rule well , Thanks ;-)
