    Ten-day marriage

    - Jenny divorced her husband after she got married to him for 10 days.

    - I got this sentence when I was chatting with a friend from the US, but I think it's much better to say like these, right?

"Jenny divorced her husband after she had got marrried to him for 10 days"
"Jenny divorced her husband after their ten-day marriage."

    Thanks so much to Teachers,

    NS

    Re: Ten-day marriage

"Jenny divorced her husband after she had been marrried to him for 10 days."
"Jenny divorced her husband after their ten-day marriage." This is fine.
