    Which one is correct?

    My memories of childhood have been lost in the mist of time.
    Memories of my childhood have been lost in the mist of time.

    I believe the standard expression is "lost in the mists of time". Other than that, both sentences are OK though I prefer the second as it specifically refers to "my childhood". You could also say "My childhood memories..."

    With a delimiting phrase we can use the first one too:

    -My memories of an unforgettable childhood.
    -My memories of a purely eastern childhood.
