Not 'was slept'

Ram slept late...

It's not clear what you mean- did Ram start sleeping late or sleep until late? (I presume Ram is a name and not the animal)

How can I express that a sheep is forced (obligated) to sleep late ? (Although I think it sounds weird).
I don't know my dictionary is whether right or not, but I looked up the word "ram" and it says "ram" means "he-sheep". (I don't know which word to use in English, it translates into Vietnamese).
Can "ram" be a meaning word ? (except the meaning "random access memory")
Thank you very much !

please check the error-:
ram was slept late in night..

Saket, I've told you before:

1. Say 'Please check for errors' - not 'please check the error'.

2. Use :- not -:

3. Use a capital letter for the first word of a sentence and a single full stop at the end.

We need to know the context in which you found the sentence
ram was slept late in night

It doesn't make sense on its own.

===Not a teacher====

"Ram" is a common name in India, which can be named for a man.

"Ram slept late at night" is what I guess the initial query was.

If saket would give us some context we wouldn't have to guess.
