    Dear teachers,
    1.can we begin formal letter with addressing more than one people?
    ex. Dear Mr.AAA, Mr.BBB and Mr.CCCC.

    2.Is there any mistakes in the date?
    On behalf of ....I would like to extend an invitation for you to visit ...Co, in New York from August 26 to September 7, 2010.

    If it's a formal letter, then each person should get his or her own letter, addressed to that person only.

    The dates look okay to me, but I'm an American and put the date after the month.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
