    came/comes

    Is it correct to say :

    Let him know if anybody came around.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the sentence above has to be
    rewritten this way:

    Let him know if anybody comes around.

    I agree with you.
    The first sentence sounds strange.
    Theoretically the first sentence would be right if it were:
    I would let him know if anybody came around.
    I will let him know if anybody comes around.

    However, this is not the case, that's why I agree with you that the 1st sentence is wrong.
