Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the phrases in bold in the following sentence?

I’ve been talking to you for your own good. Come off your perch if you don’t want to go to goal.

come off one’s nose = don’t hold up one’s nose, don’t be uppish

go in goal = land in prison

Have you made a typo and is the word in the original text "gaol"?
I have never heard the phrase "go to goal" before, but "gaol" is simply an alternative spelling of the word "jail".
