    Simple present (Active)

    1) Arsenalís fans applauses to their team at the end of each game.
    2) Roy lives in a forest so he goes outside and chops down some trees.
    3) Football teams play hard in the final games.
    4) Lions charge and devour other animals when they are so hungry.
    5) Kathy washes the plates but she chips them everyday.
    6) I chat with my friends on the msn messenger or Skype service.

    The verb is "to applaud". The noun is "applause".

    If you mean "the last few games of the season", then "final games" is OK. If you mean the last match of a competition (the final), then you would probably say "Football teams play hard in finals".
