    can i use so?

    at first thanks everyone than helped me for my first question and i have another question - can i use so? they worked in the yard from THE morning till THE evening?

    You can say that, yes. You will also hear "They worked in the yard from morning till night".

    That's the everyday sense: 'I worked from morning till night' - with no articles. But if you wanted to be specific you could say something like: 'It cant have been me officer; I was at work all day - from the morning until the evening.'
