I don't know what it means. Who wrote it?
You cannot have a sentence with three independent clauses separated by commas.

Oh, you are right. There are 3 sentences. It's from a song and it's kind a parody.

    All:
    He needs a kidney
No he doesn't need a hand
    He just needs a kidney

    Elvis Costello:
A hand would be an even harder thing to give

    All:
    When you give a kidney
And we really think you should
    We pass the cup
    They stitch it up
    You do some good

    All:
When you give a kidney when you donate one of your kidneys, or help raise money for a kidney transplant
And we really think you should
We pass the cup we raise money
They stitch it up people do the kidney transplant
You do some good you help someone get a new kidney
I was editing and somehow lost the whole post, so I redid it.
