None of the above is correct.

'I joined this forum three months ago.'
'I have been a member of this group for three months.'

    ********** NOT a teacher **********

    Hello, Sitifan.

    (1) As you know, the teachers are always telling us to give context.

    (2) I think that your sentence could be "good" English depending on

what idea you wish to express:

    (At a health club)

Tom: Hey, Martha, what are you doing here? You told me that you

    do not like health clubs.

Martha: Oh, I have decided to see whether or not health clubs are

    for me.

Tom: Did you buy a year's membership?

Martha: Not really. I have joined for three months. At the end of

the three months, I will decide if I want to continue my membership.

    THANK YOU

As The Parser just said, if you have already decided that your membership of this group is only going to last for three months, then your sentence is fine. If that's not what you meant, then it's not.

It was The Parser that said that, not Atchan.

I am confused now. It seems this is a grammatical sentence.

Could you please spell out why it may not be fine.

It is grammatically correct, but it may not be the sentence you want depending on the meaning you were aiming for.
