Please check the following sentences:

  • For the five past years, the company has been delivering hundreds of millions of dollars in addition to advanced technological equipment, into the hands of its subsidiaries.
  • Obviously, the company has been harboring the hope that its subsidiaries will use them to further develop the company's unique products.

  • The recent developments have made it clear to the company that its policy has failed. Although early indications of that have long ago showed up, the Company's Board of Directors has been unaware of them.

Please check the following sentences:

  • For the five past years, the company has been delivering hundreds of millions of dollars in addition to (the) advanced technological equipment, into the hands of its subsidiaries.

  • Obviously, the company has been harboring the hope that its subsidiaries will use them to further develop the company's unique products.

  • The recent developments have made it clear to the company that its policy has failed. Although early indications of that have showed up long ago, the Company's Board of Directors has been unaware of them.

I can't find any other "mistakes" yet, and I'm not even sure if my advice is good :)

Cheers!

See above.

"Them" refers to "hundreds of millions of dollars" and "advanced technological equipment" in the first sentence.

Why should we use the past perfect in the last sentence? ("the Company's Board of Directors had been unaware of them").
