To my mind or in my mind?

Well, lately I've met an Englishman who said "in my mind" instead of "to my mind". This made me question which form is actually correct. Can you please point me to the right direction?

Both are possible, depending on the context.

So, when do we use "to my mind", and when "in my mind"? Can you give some examples?

'A question came to my mind.'

'That doctor's a quack to my mind.'

'I can see her face in my mind.'

'I'll keep your suggestion in my mind.'

'There's no doubt in my mind that Walcott will improve.'

Alright, so the meaning of "in my mind" is completely diffrent than "to my mind"...

It helped me a lot. Thanks.
