Usage of could in the future tense.

Hi All,

Please tell me if the below sentence is correct.
I just got a doubt on using could, but I know that could can be used for the past and future tenses.

The sentence is :

I am adding your name in the list so that you could access the page from here.

Since I am talking about a future thing that if I add her name in the list today she would be able to access the page in the future(may be after a week).

So, is it correct to use could? Or it should be can?

I am adding your name to the list so that you can/will be able to access the page from here (whenever you want to.)

I would use 'can' or 'will be able to' not 'could'. 'could' is either the past tense form of 'can' or a subjunctive form of the verb. Your sentence is a simple statement of fact, and as such doesn't need a subjunctive, nor is it past tense.

cf: I added your name to the list, so that you could access the page from here.

Future tense is indicated using 'will' or 'shall' or 'going to' not could.

I will go to London tomorrow. FT
I could go to London tomorrow, if .... (depends on other factors, is subjunctive.)

Can is basically a capability of doing things, and I know she is capable. She can’t access the page because I haven’t added her name to the list.
Still would you suggest me to use can?

I remember, some days ago, I asked someone … Can you please sign this document? She replied, yes, I can, but I don’t have permission to do so.

I know if I had said to her using could she would have said simply No.
