    go back and forth

    Hi

A certain lady who is a psychic says: I go back and forth with the I-Ching. There are times when I have no inclination to consult it. At other times I feel I would step on a land mine without it.

--- What does she mean by "go back and forth"?

    Thanks

I would say she means that sometimes she uses it and sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes she feels that it is essential to her and other times it doesn't seem important.
