    Tense

    Dear Teachers:
Kindly tell me tense of the following sentence.
"I ask that you do not be destructive"
As per my knowledge about English language "You do not" is the present simple tense. But "Be" has created a problem for me here. Kindly clear the role of "Be" here. And give some other examples like this sentences to clear my concept.

    Best regards.

In my opinion, it should read "I ask that you not be destructive."

I would ask that you not do that.
I would request that you not visit me again.
