We start a sentence with "First time" or "first times". Which is correct?

There can only ever be one "first time" that something happens, or that you do something, so it's "time". After you've done it once, it's the "second time" etc.

You wouldn't start a sentence with "First time" though. You might start it with "The first time ..."

First times are always hard.
