    not so dusty

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

It would be awful fun. Wouldn’t it, Pat?
    Not so dusty.

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V

    Re: not so dusty

    Hi
    *
    You may hear that one:

    He got a dusty answer.

dusty = uninteresting, dry; inconclusive; uncertain, unsatisfactory (for argument, the utterance)

But there is also “not so dusty” = tolerably, pretty well, pretty fairly, passably, so-so

    It’s not so dusty = it’s quite good = it’s not so bad = it’s passable, it’s fairly good ??????????
