    account

The check for $ 25,000/- had deposited in the first week of July 2010. But JJ Enterprises sent thier check for 25,000/- was issued in last week of June 2010. Our account has closed on 30th June 2010. Our book of accounts showed that we have to receive $ 25000 from JJ but JJ account showed no outstanding against us.

Please check this context and correct where necessary.

The cheque had been deposited in your account. correct or not
The cheque was deposited in your account. correct or not

    Re: account

***Neither a teacher nor a native speaker.***

Unfortunately I don't have the time to correct this text now.
However, I would like to give you some advice.

You must learn the active and passive usage.
    An account cannot close itself.
    It gets closed by someone.
    So you cannot say:
    Our account has closed.
    You can only say:
    Our account has been closed.
Depending on the tense you can also write it like that:
    Our account was closed.
    Our account had been closed.

I have closed the account. -> The account has been closed (by me).
I closed the account. -> The account was closed (by me).
I had closed the account. -> The account had been closed (by me).

    Cheers!
