easy as falling of a log

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

If you canít write a play no one can teach you, and if you can itís easy as falling of a log.

easy as falling of a log = easy as breathing = easy as kissing your hand = easy as apple-pie = easy as tea-drinking

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V

It's "as easy as falling off a log", not "of".

As far as your alternative versions go, I've only ever heard "easy as breathing", never the others, but the definition is "very simple".
