    every so often

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

Every so often we would hear the tender melancholy note of the horn.

every so often = from time to time, now and then, sometimes

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V
