Which option is correct (or more correct than the other) and why?
I rarely listen to music _____ my iPhone.
Please be kind enough to explain in detail.
Please note that I've italicized 'rarely'.
Is it that the answer would change depending on the frequency of the action performed? I mean-
I listen to music on my iPhone everyday.
I rarely listen to music with my iPhone. (action is performed less frequently )

Thank you very much!
You listen to the music with your ears and not the phone while the phone is singing like a nightingale.
Thanks for the reply, but in what cases should I use "with"?
Hard for me to say
I think you work by (using) your hands.
The book is (written) by the writer.
You go on foot.
