    Hello, everyone!
    Thank you for an in-depth explanation of the question concerning the use of the Past Perfect I posted not so long ago.
    Could you help me with another question, please?
    Do we need the definite article before the word humanity in the following sentence - Why is the Internet good for the humanity?
    And here is another sentence - The database of almost all knowledge humanity has obtained is just a few mouse clicks away from you, any time of day or any season of the year.
    I think instead of the word OBTAINED, it would be better to use ACCUMULATED.

    No article.

    "Accumulated" is a better word, yes.
