    Question Problem getting the sentence...

    Hi there,
Could anyone please tell me what the structure implies? I mean what can be meant using such structures?

'He's not so much as poor as careless with money!'
'He's not so much careful as coward!'
'It's not so much a hobby as a career!'

Are these used in daily speech?

    Thanks a lot.

The first one is incorrect while the other two are correct.
2- He is more coward than he is careful
3-It is more a career than a hobby.
We use 'as' as a combination with 'so' or 'so much'
