Could you please just tell me how to use "the" article with uncountable nouns?
the murk of English grammar -> correct
the danger of collapsing -> incorrect

why? the problem of specificity? how to define specificity? what is specificity?

    Thank you for your elaboration.

I think I can grasp most of your points.

If I recast your sentence into the sentence below, then I need a "the" before the heaven, right?

I saw the heaven of last night, not the heaven of tonight or the heaven of tomorrow. It is exact and specific, last night's heaven.

    Thanks again.

To get away from using the article you would have to drop any reference to a particular heaven - I saw heaven last night. It's similar to, "I saw cars last night (cars are uncountable) and, "I saw the car of my dreams last night (specific and countable). If you approach each noun this way you should be able to tell if an article is required. Feel free to pursue this matter by asking more questions here.
    Thank you, Gillnetter
