    Question "Looking back on it..."

    Hi there,
    Are the terms below equal in meaning, or can they be interchangably used?

    In retrospect...
    Looking back on it...
    In/with hindsight...

    I'm not sure if I'm correct, but I think "In hindsight" sort of means "Only now-with the experience I've got-I can realise that what I did was not the right choice,..."

    I'd appreciate it if somebody gave me the right usage.

    You´ve answered your own qustion correctly. They all mean the same thing and therefore can be used interchageably.
