Hi, today I have one question about verb used in wish and if clause.

A lot of people wish that there are more hours in a day, they can do more things. If a day had 28 hours, they think, "oh I can do a lot of things."

Are the verb in bold correct?

The comma is not necessary.

The comma is not necessary.

Rover

It is, because the sentence starts with the if-clause.
If a sentence starts with the main clause, a comma is not necessary.
I could do a lot of things if a day had 28 hours.
If a day had 28 hours, I could do a lot of things.
I do it if I like it.
If I like it, I do it.
I will pass the exams if I learn.
If I learn, I will pass the exams.

:)

Cheers!

Okay, then take it or leave it, but don't wonder when other people will keep correcting your sentences.

Cheers!
