    Can someone tell me which is correct, thank you so much!!
    "most of the paper is in the box" or "most of the paper are in the box"

    If you see the paper as documents then

    Most of the papers are in the box.

    If you see the paper as a thin and flat material on which one can write then

    the paper isn't a countable noun so it can not take the plural. Then

    Most of the paper is in the box.
