    About teachers!

    Hi everybody,

I need to write an essay about "the features of a good teacher". A good introduction including the characteristic of good teacher is required and I'm not that good about writing good introductions also what are the main points or ideas I should follow about this. And finally what to write for a good conclusion.
    I really appreciate your help.

Sorry, Sama. The board doesn't work like that.

We expect you to make an effort first and then we try to improve upon it.

Try to read some posts from the various social groups at UsingEnglish related to the characteristics of a good English teacher to get some inspiration. Then, as Rover_KE says, try to make an effort, write a first draft version and post some small pieces here for discussion (I don't recommend posting long texts).

    Thank you guys!
I know I should make some effort but all I need is a hint because I'm afraid i won't do the right job. I'm not really that good about writing an introduction. Anyway I'll give it a try.

    Re: About teachers!

Ok here is what I'm gonna do.

At the introduction I wanna use words such as " At the beginnign or in my opinion" and then say the main charateristics from my own point of view.

Then, I have to explain each point. Am I right? I don't really know. At the conclusion I don't have any idea what I should write or which words to start with.

But if what I wrote is ok tell me so I can write a good essay using my ideas and I can't write the essay here because it's gonna be long"it has to be long unfortunately" :(

Personally I don't like those expressions like "in my opinion," or "at the beginning", but it depends on the situation you use them of course. Your idea of pointing out some characteristics at the beginning and then explaining them one by one seems interesting. You may write some lines of your essay here, the critical ones.
