What about "village''.

When you want do get away from day to day routine and you feel like getting outside the city, what would you say:

"I will go to the village" ( Sorry If I'm wrong sounds oldfashioned)

OR

"I will go to the country"

OR

"I will go the countryside"

What about

" to the village" and "to the country"?
You could use "to the country", I prefer "countryside" because there is no ambiguity.
"To the village" is a bit vague. Which village are you talking about?

We might well rank it like this:

1)" I will go to the countryside"

2)'' I will go to the country" ( Suggest ambiguty. How could eliminate it, If I chose option 1?)

3) " I will go to the village" ( In this sentence I'll have to be specific. " I will go the village where my parents come from" Ok? Is " village" often used in speech nowadays?

In AmE, there is no ambiguity in the use of country in this context. It is the equivalent of countryside.
Regarding village, your modified sentence is correct. A village is a small community, generally in a rural area. It is a common word in the U.S.

So If you say "I'm going to the village" it will mean that youre going to that specific small comunity not just in general to get away from day to day routine in the city ?
