hello, this my first time here.
i need a little of help with this:
for a long time or for long time
are both ok?? and can i use it like this? ``I waited a long time for the bus``

"For a long time or for long time", are both OK? Can i use it like this? ``I waited a long time for the bus.``
"I waited a long time for the bus" is OK.
"For a long time" is correct. I can't think of any correct use for 'for long time".
