Hi there,
Could anyone please tell my why the word "spontaneous" has been used as a noun in this sentence. I even thought there must be some word missing when I copied and pasted the text!

"There is less opportunity for children and adults to have the spontaneous of community."

Thanks...

There certainly appears to be a noun missing. Spontaneous is an adjective, which here modifies nothing. Even if the noun spontaneity were used, the sentence wouldn´t make much sense.

I think it's supposed to be spontaneity.
