    I could do with some help

    I could do with some help to bring the bags in from the car.
    What does it exactly mean? I'd better get some help? (since I am to translate it into my own language)

    I would interpret it as "I 'll need some help" or "it would be good if someone helped me" (though I am not a native speaker)
