    Question Is this sentence correct?

    Hi there!

Would you tell me if the following sentence is grammatically correct or not?

"the hearts that are going through the same pain, sinking deeper into the darkness, within the feathers of pain lies the mask of all"

    1. Does the expression 'feathers of pain' make sense to you?
    2. Which one is correct ... feathers of pain lies or lie?
    3. What do you think of this sentence
The mask of all lies within the feathers of pain.

    Thanks in advance

I don't really understand the sentence. The hearts that are going through the same pain... do what?

    1. No
    2. Feathers lie, but isn't it the mask? The mask lies
    3. I don't understand it at all.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Re: Is this sentence correct?

    What comes before this??
"the hearts that are going through the same pain, sinking deeper into the darkness, within the feathers of pain lies the mask of all"

"These are like the hearts that are going through the same pain, sinking deeper into the darkness, within the feathers of pain lies the mask of all"

Two or more hearts (lovers?) experience the same pain, they sink into the darkness, onto the soft bed of pain, which masks everything else. Only pain remains.

    Summinck like that!
