    I should/would

I read these sentenses in BUILDING GRAMMAR SKILLS FOR THE TOEFL iBT:

    1. If you find a wallet on the street, you should return it.
should is usually not used with 'I' as the subject:
    2. If I find a wallet on the street, I would put it in the bank.

    My questions:
    a. Does 'I would' mean 'I should' or 'I will' or something else? or 'I would'='you should' (expressing advice)?
    b. Does 'put it in the bank' mean 'turn it in to the bank for the bank to hand it back to the owner'?

    Thank you in advance.

    Student

Sentence two doesn't seem to be correct grammatically but I will also wait for an answer from one of the teachers.

    #2 is incorrect. "If I find...I will...", "If I found...I would..."
"Put it in the bank" is unusual. "Hand it to the police" would be more usual.
