    Word Order

"The reason I'm asking is that I e-mailed him yesterday regarding an administrative matter, and he hasn't replied yet."

Is the sentence ok as it is, or should "yesterday" be placed after "matter"?

    Thanks!

In my humble opinion, the sentence is fine as is.

I agree with RonBee, there is no need to change it.
