    which way is right for "the U.S." usage in the sentence?

    if I put "the U.S." at the end of the sentence, which way is right? .....the U.S. and the U.S.. thanks

    I am not a teacher.

    You don't need to add an extra period to a sentence ending in "the U.S." If you're uncomfortable with that, or still unsure, it might be better to just spell out the United States.
