Good evening everybody,

I know that if someone says thank you to us then we will reply you are welcome.

I found that the notice in this forum written as below :

You are welcome to answer questions posted in the Ask a Teacher forum as long as your suggestions......

I think that the sentence should be written as '' You are welcomed to answer questions posted in......

As we know, you are welcome is the response of someone who is gratitude to us. You are welcomed means 'you are encouraged' to.....(passive voice)

Am I right?

Welcome is correct because it is adjective, Welcome can also be used as verb form (transitive) for example: We were welcomed by our hosts; She will welcome the chance to see you again.

In the sentence you gave "Welcome" is more appropriate :)
