    Cool Nostalgia-driven?

    Hi,

What do they mean when by 'nostalgia-driven' in the following passage?

'This first-ever beaming of a radio song by the space agency directly into deep space is nostalgia-driven.'

    Hi,

'nostalgia-driven' means that they beamed the song into space out of nostalgia. They wanted to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the song itself and the 50th anniversary of NASA. So nostalgia was the driving force behind all this.
