    Usage of opposite

    1) He sat in the opposite direction in which the bus was moving.
    2) He sat in the direction opposite to which the bus was moving in.
    3) He sat in the opposite direction to which the bus was moving in.

Can someone please tell me which of the above sentences sounds natural? Or how can I put it in a better way?
