    Hi,

    Please let me know if the sentence mentioned below is correct:

    I've seen cases when people go to abroad for the purposes like higher studies.

    Not a native speaker. I can help you with one part of your sentence. It's "go abroad" not "go to adroad".

    ostap77 is right about "go abroad". For the rest of the sentence write, "for higher studies" or "to complete their education".
