    2 different ways of saying the same thing

    Is it the same to say:

    1.Having you as a teacher has been a pleasure

    and

    2.It's been a pleasure to have you as a teacher.
    3.It's been a pleasure having you as a teacher.

    Yes. Your sentences are all fine and mean the same.

    NOT A TEACHER


    (1) I think that some "experts" feel that the gerund is more

    emotional and immediate than the infinitive.

    (a) That is, perhaps "It was nice to see you again" is

    a bit "colder" and "remote" than:

    "It was really nice seeing you again!!!"
