    Words ending in -ing

    Please, I would like to know if the ''g'' in words ending in -ing should be pronounced.
    For example:
    drinking, taking, running..ect.

    Yes, they are pronounced as /ɪŋ/ but not as /ɪŋg/
    Compare 'singer' /sɪŋə/ and 'finger' /fɪŋgə/.
