Re: How to say that "make teacher"

Can you write that a different way or give us some more information?

I would be happy to help but it is not clear what you want.

But perhaps you're trying to say 'Don't act as if you were my teacher', or - less formally - 'Don't boss me about' or 'Don't tell me what to do.'

Re: How to say that "make teacher"

Thein Lin Aung's 'make teacher' (which, note, is wrong) sounds a bit like the acceptable 'play teachers/doctors/...); it also sounds like a possible source for the strange (to me) but informally acceptable 'Make like...' meaning 'pretend'. I first heard this in the mouth of Chubby Checker, explaining how to do the Twist: 'Make like you're towelling your behind' - so I've always associated it with the USA... but I wouldn't say that for sure.
